On December 8, 2005, the Massachusetts High Technology Council (MHTC) Board of Directors agreed to establish MassDTI (now DTI) as an affiliated 501(c)(6) organization.  It has its own articles of incorporation, mission statement (as above), governance structure, membership and operating budget.  As a member organization, MHTC is the sole member of DTI, and the Chairman of MHTC shall annually elect the board of DTI.

Executive Committee

As in the BRAC process, the principal agenda-setting and policymaking entity of DTI is an executive committee made of senior level executives from organizations reflecting the full spectrum of the Massachusettsdefense cluster – private sector, non-profit, academic and public.  This group meets quarterly to provide updates of activities, discuss major initiatives and shape the strategic direction of DTI. 

 

Staff

President:  Christopher Anderson, the President of MHTC provides strategic leadership directly to DTI and all major actions come under the direction of MHTC.  MHTC staff also provides support to DTI.

 

Executive Director:  Donald Quenneville is the Executive Director of DTI. He is responsible for carrying out the principle operating activities necessary to implement DTI's mission.
